Being a waiter or waitress is a tough job. You are on your feet all day, you live off of tips, and you have to deal with annoying customers. Now, imagine if you work at a restaurant that's a hot spot for celebrities. It can go one of two ways: great tips and awesome experience or bad tips and rude behavior. According to a waitress who worked in a top New York restaurant, these were some of the best and worst celebrities to wait on. (Remember, these are her experiences)
Remember if the food is bad, it not the server's fault. Also remember a few other things the server is being paid far below minimum wage. They make their money on tips. You should tip a minimum of 15 percent , more if the service was above average. Don't eat at that restaurant if you can't afford to tip. If you too are in the service industry treat the server as you wish to be treated. And base your tip on the total bill, not only on what's left after you apply coupons and gift cards.
Let's hear from servers .... what is your experience waiting on celebs? Who were some of the best and worst?
