Born in a Cleveland suburb, I came to WNCO originally out of the Ohio School for Broadcast Technique in 1986. I worked here on the weekends developing my skills as a radio personality. In time a position opened up and I was offered the chance to become a full time member of the air staff. I started with the overnight shift, and then moved to the Midday shift following Colman in the Morning, and then took over the evening shift where I got to do an Oldies show on Wednesday nights. As time went on I developed some great relationships with the listeners and people would bring me Chocolate when I was on location. Yes, I LOVES chocolate!!!
After awhile I started dating and then fell in love with our own Matt Appleby. After a romantic courtship we married and settled into a beautiful home in the area. Most listeners didn’t realize I was married to Matt because I retained my on-air name.
Finding a need to make a change, Matt and I left WNCO to pursue other interests several years ago.
Matt returned to the station in January 2004, and after some begging from our Program Director, I came back to the WNCO air waves in the summer of 2006 and I'm having fun with our listeners weekday evenings. I'm REALLY glad to be back!
Matt and I make our home in the Mansfield area with our watch dog Murphy, and we are getting ready to watch my stepdaughter Sara graduate from Nursing school this summer!

Hey Miranda Lambert fans: Tuesday, November 1st is when the new album comes out -- "Four the Record" -- and Miranda will have a busy time promoting it. Tuesday morning she'll wake up early to perform "Baggage Claim" on the Today show on NBC, then Wednesday she'll be interviewed and then will perform on the Live with Regis & Kelly show. She'll also be on Austin City Limits on Saturday, November 5th
Lonestar will celebrate their 20th anniversary with the return of lead singer Richie McDonald and with a new album and world tour in 2012. He says, "We've all tried other avenues, and the fact remains that some things were just meant to be." The band's Keech Rainwater adds, "I think fans ultimately wondered if this was ever going to happen again, and it always seemed like the original Lonestar as a whole was better than the sum of its parts."
There's no word on a release date for the album, but we know for sure that the tour will hit England, Ireland, Switzerland and Germany early next year.
Okay, did you WATCH the game??????? We won yesterday with a score lower than a World Series game!!! Hey, a win is a win in my book, but we still have a long way to go before I break out my brown and orange Superbowl decorations.
Yesterday in Miami, the Denver Broncos' Tim Tebow brought his team to a victory within the last 2 minutes of their game -- then winning in overtime. Afterwards, he said that no matter what, his teammates kept pushing forward and never gave up, and that's how I feel about my Browns ---- at least we play a full 60 minutes of a game....it's never over 'til the clock reaches 0:00 !!!!!!
