Remember the homeless man named Billy Ray Harris, who made headlines last week after returning an engagement ring that was mistakenly dropped in his donation cup?
Well ... people have raised more than $150,000 to help him get a new life. Ring owner Sarah Darling set up an online campaign with her husband to help Billy Ray get on his feet. The only catch is he doesn’t think he deserve a cent for his good deed. He says, “I like it, but I don’t think I deserve it … What has the world come to when a person who returns something that doesn’t belong to him and all this happens?”
Whether he thinks he deserves it or not, Billy Ray is due to come into some major cash when the drive ends on May 15th. (Daily Mail)
