A bit about me

Welcome to my web pages. Thanks for stopping by.

Here’s some quick stuff about me.

I started here at WNCO on August 1, 1984. I'm working here in my 28^th year. My morning show is the longest running morning show in North Central Ohio and one of the longest running morning shows on any Country station is Ohio.

I was the 1994 Disc Jockey Hall of Fame inductee to the Ohio Country and Western Music Association (One of my proudest accomplishments).

I’ve served on several area non-profit agency boards including the Ashland County Fair Board, Ashalnd County American Red Cross Board and more.

I’ve MC’d a ton of Country shows at the Richland, Ashland, Knox, Huron, Loudonville and Attica Fairs. Also at the Renaissance Theater, the Rib Burn Off, the Chili Cook-off and many other shows. As time goes by I’ll try to write a little about the many Country Stars I have had the pleasure and sometimes disappointment to meet. I’ll dig out some photo’s for you to look at too.

My greatest accomplishment was talking my Adorable Redhead into marrying me in 2002. Every man should find a woman like her and live happily ever after. Can you tell I love her a little bit?

Our home is in northern Ashland county

My Adorable Redhead thinks I like her cat, “Christmas Kitty” just like the line in the George Strait song ”You Know Me Better Than That”.
In the meantime, I’ll see you on the radio.

Luke Bryan, George Strait, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert all hit the road over the weekend:

Luke launched his first headlining tour with Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line Thursday night with a sold-out show in Evansville, Indiana. Harlem Globetrotters' Handles Franklin was spotted backstage showing Luke how to execute the Globetrotters' signature basketball spin. (The Boot)
George kicked off his final tour with a sold-out show in Lubbock, Texas with opener Martina McBride. Mid-concert George gave away a home to U.S. Marine Corps E-3/Lance Corporal Christopher Allen, as part of the Military Warriors Support Foundation's Homes 4 Wounded Heroes program. The Allen family will receive a three-bedroom, one-story home in Bakersfield, California.
Dierks and Miranda kicked off their co-headlining Locked & Reloaded Tour in Columbia, South Carolina Thursday. The tour rejoins Dierks and Miranda, who hit the road together in 2006. The Locked & Reloaded tour marks Dierks' first time using video elements in his set. Both headliners used personal childhood photographs in video montages for "Home" and "The House That Built Me."
