Two big chains are already on board: Sbarro has trotted out a breakfast pizza with bacon, sausage, eggs and mozzarella; and BJ’s has a pie topped with mozzarella, marinara sauce, and an omelet of bacon, ham and sausage. Several smaller chains are also adapting pizza for the morning.
The Domino's location near the University of Dayton in Ohio has offered breakfast pizzas for three years – though the chain claims they have no plans for any of its other nearly-5000 locations to introduce the item.
