LAUREN ALAINA
Lauren’s been singing since she was three years old. Getting such an early start helps explain how she was able to earn a spot with American Idol by the age 17. She finished runner up to Scotty McCreary in 2011, season 10 of the televised competition. Later that year Alaina released her debut album Wildflower. It wouldn’t be until six years later her second album would be released but it was worth the wait. Road Less Traveled saw the title cut go to number one! Alain would also top the Country chart with her duet with Kane Brown, a childhood friend, on What If’s.
Lauren Alaina proved herself light on her feet as she and her partner Gleb Savchenko finished fourth on Season 28 of Dancing with The Stars. She has also won two CMT Music Awards, One Academy of Country Music Award, and received two County Music Associations nominations. In February 0f 2022 was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by her childhood hero Trisha Yearwood, making Alaina the Opry’s youngest member.

Emily Ann Roberts is no stranger to Ashland County Fair goers. Roberts was the special guest performer last September on the Joe Nichols show. Since then, Roberts joined Blake Shelton on his “Back to the Honkytonk” Tour, opened for numerous other artists including Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Josh Turner, Scotty McCreery and Ricky Skaggs. You may remember she finished as runner-up in season 9 of The Voice on Team Blake. You may also be one of Roberts’ 1.6 million combined followers on social media. Roberts’ music has also amassed over 35 million cumulative streams.
